Highland Fans Love Their High School Football

Highlands proved Friday night that it deserves to be in the national rankings. The two-time Kentucky 5-A champs moved into the USA Today Super 25 this week after beating St. Xavier (OH). Before the game, the Cincinnati Enquirer talked with one fan, who put into perspective, what the Bluejays mean to the Ft. Thomas community.

#23 Highlands Loses to Red-Hot Colerain (OH)

Cincinnati Colerain (3-0) may be the hottest team in the country after its third straight impressive win. Friday night the Cardinals took down Highlands (#23 USA Today Super 25), Kentucky's defending 5A champ 33-18.

In what is considered a rebuilding year because of the loss of 18-starters from last year's squad, Colerain has now beaten two nationally ranked teams (St. Xavier #18, Highlands) and western Pennsylvania power McKeesport.
